Biography/Career
Based in Sussex, Suzanne is currently Vice President of Sales for Thermo Fisher’s Laboratory Products Business in the EMEA region as well as leading commercial operations and growth of Thermo Fisher's complete portfolio in the UK.
Suzanne has worked extensively with the UK government and policy organisations to drive sustainable growth, including through clinical and commercial partnerships. She is a passionate advocate for diverse talent, particularly in the STEM fields and has spent much of her time at Thermo Fisher focused on sustainability – in driving innovative solutions for customers, and in industry engagement on the opportunities to leverage sustainable practices to improve patient outcomes.
Suzanne is currently serving as co-chair alongside the Minister of State in the Department of Health and Social Care for the Health Technologies Partnership (HTP), working on behalf of the ABHI members to tackle some key issues and opportunities, including regulation, diagnostics, innovation, adoption and procurement. The HTP is a key group in driving forward HealthTech commitments in both the Life Sciences Vision and the Medical Technology Strategy and empowering the NHS to act as an innovation partner.
Suzanne joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in January 2001 and subsequently held various leadership positions aligning the commercial strategies across all groups to best support customers, leveraging the power of the extensive Thermo Fisher Scientific portfolio enabling its customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Prior to that, she worked at GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis in respiratory disease Research and Development and is a Biochemistry graduate.
