ABHI has announced the 2026 cohort of its flagship US Accelerator programme, with a further 16 UK HealthTech companies set to scale their innovations across the United States.

In partnership with the Dell Medical School, the programme is backed by an extensive network of US health systems, hospitals and insurers, alongside sponsors including Wilson Sonsini, Frazier and Deeter, Foothold America and Formly.ai who offer hands-on business support. This combination of access and expertise continues to help UK companies successfully enter and grow in the US healthcare market.

Now in its ninth year, the ABHI US Accelerator builds on a strong track record, having supported more than 110 companies and generated over $150 million in business.

The 2026 cohort spans medical devices, diagnostics, and digital health, reflecting the breadth of UK innovation addressing global healthcare challenges.

The companies selected for this year’s programme include:

  • Adaptix Ltd: Advancing point-of-care diagnostic imaging.
  • Aide Health: Improving effectiveness of prescribed care.
  • Bedfont Scientific Ltd: Leaders in breath analysis technology.
  • Community Dermatology Ltd: Expanding access to skin health services.
  • Haemoband Surgical: Specialists in colorectal devices.
  • Haigh: Enhancing hygiene and operational efficiency in healthcare settings.
  • Megi Health: AI-powered personalised heart care for women.

  • TG0: Transforming surfaces into intuitive healthcare controls.
  • VitVio: Improving operating room efficiency through AI and computer vision.

The programme begins on April 14 with a two-day intensive bootcamp hosted at the Wilson Sonsini office in London. Companies will then participate in a series of high-impact activities designed to accelerate US market entry, including:

  • Trade missions to key US regions such as Tennessee, the East Coast, and Texas.
  • Access to US healthcare systems, insurers and mentors.
  • Strategic insights through bootcamps and peer learning sessions.
  • Networking opportunities with international partners and alumni.

The programme is further strengthened through collaboration with US state economic development organisations, including AdvanceCT, SCbio, Choose New Jersey, Tennessee Department of Economic Development, and Washington DC Economic Partnership.

Through its extensive US network of hospitals, life sciences clusters, and industry experts, the ABHI US Accelerator enables companies to refine their market strategy, reduce barriers to entry, and build meaningful transatlantic partnerships.

The programme continues to play a critical role in supporting UK HealthTech innovation to scale globally, delivering benefits for patients, healthcare systems, and economic growth on both sides of the Atlantic.
