The Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) has announced a partnership with Ascend Solutions in Saudi Arabia to support UK HealthTech companies to enter the market. This partnership will strengthen the growing relationships that ABHI already has in place and offers additional help to companies who want structured engagement with the right stakeholders and organisations via Ascend's Co Creation Lab.
The companies have just returned from their first mission to Saudi Arabia, which included an innovation day with Ascend Solutions. They also met with leaders at hospital systems and government bodies including the Ministry of Health, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group, Dallah Health, and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre.
The Accelerator is a 12-month programme of support that includes a learning series to prepare companies for market, access to a network of market experts in the UK and the Middle East, and missions out to market over the course of the year, as well as one, high profile, UK based engagement.
The programme is also being supported by Hill Dickinson Health Lawyers, their in-market legal partner, BLK Legal, and Welcome Health Ventures, who supported in-market connections and coordinated the April trade mission.
