Part IX of Drug Tariff Consultation
Part IX of the NHS England and Wales Drug Tariff contains the list of medical devices which are approved to be prescribed by healthcare practitioners. There has been minimal change in how it has been delivered since it was established, but given how the world of HealthTech has evolved over the years, the government is keen to modernise its requirements. It has therefore issued a consultation that sets out a series of proposals to update Part IX of Drug Tariff, with this consultation closing on 1st December 2023.
