Supply of HealthTech into Ukraine: Urgent Request to Join a Call with the Surgeon General
The conflict in Ukraine continues to have a catastrophic effect on the country and its citizens. As such, there is a sustained need for the supply of critical goods, and in particular, HealthTech products. Many of you have provided significant contributions towards these efforts, for which we thank you.
Yesterday, I spoke with Major General Timothy Hodgetts, who in his role as Surgeon-General of the UK Armed Forces, is the most senior uniformed medical officer in the UK. He is also one of the key medical leaders within the NATO health system, and is heavily involved in coordinating efforts to supply medical goods into Ukraine.
Major General Hodgetts would like to speak with ABHI members to provide an update on the current situation, detail what goods are still in high demand, and get your thoughts on what else our sector may be able to do.
The call will be held on 21st July 2022 at 09:00 - 10:00. Please complete this short registration form to confirm your attendance, and the link to join the call will be shared accordingly.
Please encourage an appropriate person from within your organisation to make every effort to attend this meeting and help our sector play a significant role in addressing this humanitarian crisis.
