Cabinet Office Requests Intelligence from Industry on Situation in Ukraine
Please be aware that the Cabinet Office are seeking any intelligence from the sector as to the impacts on business in relation to the situation in Ukraine.
Any details would be useful to help inform government thinking, but some specific questions have also been posed:
- What are the main anticipated (or current) impacts to businesses?
- How could further increases in Gas/Oil/Energy prices impact businesses?
- Have supply chains been altered to mitigate issues relating to trade with Russia/Ukraine?
Please provide any feedback to me directly, which I will then collate. Any information shared can be anonymised if preferred. We also advise that one person responds per company, rather than multiple individuals.
Related to this, the UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has urged organisations of all sizes to follow its guidance on steps to take when the cyber threat is heightened. This guidance can be found here. Please note that even though the NCSC is not aware of any current specific threats to UK organisations, there has been an historical pattern of cyber attacks on Ukraine with international consequences.
