Making it Happen: ABHI's Report Captures How to Deliver Future HealthTech Innovation
I am delighted to share with you our latest publication, Making it Happen: Delivering Future Innovation in HealthTech.
This report began life as our substantive input into Lord Bethell's Innovation Manifesto, and that work, alongside the new Life Sciences Sector Vision recently commissioned by the Prime Minister, will shape our sector in the years ahead. We are confident that our report's recommendations will inform both pieces of work, as well as the Government's next Spending Review.
To do justice to our sector and its significant capabilities, the report is unashamedly detailed, and there are numerous recommendations, 66 in fact. It is, therefore, perhaps best utilised as a reference document, rather than something to read in one sitting. I would, however, draw your attention to the summary of those recommendations, the key drivers for growth that we have identified, and the enablers that will support them.
Many industry colleagues have helped us put together this comprehensive document, for which we are incredibly grateful, and I spoke to a couple of those individuals to get their thoughts on what this report means for the sector. This is captured in the video below.
