ABHI Launches 'COVID impact on HealthTech' Survey
Last week, we wrote to you outlining the inevitable consequences that the surge in coronavirus cases will have on the levels of NHS elective activity. The impact of this on our industry is mixed and by no means uniform.
While we continue to advocate for the positives we have seen in innovation adoption to be captured, we maintain that parts of our sector will once again be under pressure and will need much of the same support being afforded to businesses impacted by local lockdowns. We are therefore working closely with the Office for Life Sciences to better understand and describe the impact of COVID-19 on our sector.
To aid this, we are launching this survey for HealthTech manufacturers. This survey will not be limited to ABHI members, and will be communicated through various channels with the support of government, and our partners, in order to get the best possible picture of the impact of the pandemic so far. It will close at 5pm on the 30th October at which point we will work with the Office for Life Sciences to analyse the results and consider different solutions to support the sector.
While this survey will provide strong numerical data, individual stories remain incredibly useful. If you are able to share your thoughts to be part of a case study that shows either the positive, or negative, impacts of the pandemic, please contact me directly.
