Brexit Update: Matt Hancock Letter to Suppliers on No Deal Planning
The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock, has again written to suppliers providing an update on the government's no deal planning. Read more here.
The letter highlights the areas that businesses should be aware of as part of their no deal preparations to ensure continuity of supply. Government's plans to mitigate any disruption include a combination of securing freight, buffer stocks, stockpiling and warehousing, regulatory flexibility, and clinical assessment.
If you have not done so already, please ensure you have registered for access to the Dedicated Shipment Channel. Registration is essential in order to be eligible for use of the Channel and will also aid the government in their overall planning.
