ABHI Brexit Update: DHSC Letter to Suppliers on Shipping Routes and Dedicated Shipping Channel
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has issued its latest guidance to suppliers, providing an update on the government’s no deal contingency planning. Specifically, the information gives operational details on shipping routes between the EU and the UK and the Dedicated Shipment Channel.Read more here.
Suppliers will have received an email to enrol onto a portal named 'DHSC eXchange', allowing them to facilitate their completion of the registration form for the government secured capacity. If you are not registered with the MDCC mailbox, you will not have received this invitation. Please email mdcc-contingencyplanning@dhsc.gov.uk to rectify this.
Guidance and a URL to register for access to the Dedicated Shipment Channel is now live. Registration is essential in order to be eligible for use of the Channel. Completing the registration process will provide you with a Unique Shipper ID and should be completed as soon as possible.
