The British Anaesthetic & Respiratory Equipment Manufacturers Assocation (Barema) is a specialist trade association representing over 80% of the UK Anaesthetic and Respiratory device industry.
It provides professional services to its members relating to regulatory affairs, government legislation, the development of technical standards and involvement with many other activities serving the interests of its members.
In addition, it has beneficial links with ABHI, MHRA, the European Commission (via Eurom VI) and works closely with medical professional bodies in the fields of Anaesthesia & Respiratory Medicine, especially AAGBI.
