About Darshan

Dr. Gandhi is Executive Director of Innovation and Venture at Methodist Health System in Dallas. He is board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology and carries a special interest in healthcare entrepreneurship, venture capital and biotechnology. He is past Medical Director of Oncology, Chair of Cancer Committee and Chair, Department of Medicine at Methodist Charlton hospital. He sits on the Value - based payment and Quality Improvement committee of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. He is a Member of the National Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee for United Healthcare and OptumRx (pharmacy benefit manager). He has completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at the Harvard Business School (HBS) and earned MBA (Masters of Business Administration) from the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts. He is actively involved in mentoring and assisting innovative health start-ups and is founder of Healthentrepreneur.com and D-HEN (DFW Health Entrepreneur Network), organizations that help physicians and other innovators bring good ideas to life.
